Last week we facilitated a Parents and Carers family bingo evening here at the school.
It was an opportunity of families and friends to come together for a bit of fun, in the evening after school.
It was great to see 57 people join us from many different families.
The evening was a great success with many of the children, and parents/carers requesting another similar event in the future.
One carer sent the following text to us: “Just to say thank you all for a good night last Friday. I think it went really well, it was nice to see other families. I think they all seemed to enjoy it.” B
Thank you to all families who supported us on the night.

Inspection by Ofsted of Residential Provision
Our Residential provision is being inspected Ofsted from today, Wednesday 16th November until Friday 18th November 2016.
Your views on the school, and particularly the Residential provision, are important to both the school, and Ofsted, so if you are a registered parent / carer of a pupil at the school you can tell us your views about the school by completing Ofsted's online survey, Parent View, at www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk

Parents and Carers Get Together
Just to remind you that the next Parents and Carers Get Together is on Monday afternoon, 14th November at 1pm.
We shall have a visit from Julia Bell a worker from the Lowestoft Shine Project based in South Lowestoft. She will tell us about the youth group available. We will also have some information about E-safety and anti-bullying.
Why not come and meet other parents and carers, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon. It would be lovely to see you. Come to school reception.
Also please let us know if you will be attending BINGO on the 25th November. Replies and payment needed by next Friday 18th November. Please call Sam Bover on 01502 565439 if you would like further information.

Intergalactic Artwork “Out of this World”
We were delighted in September to be offered an intergalactic artwork “Out of this World” which had been created by professional street artists, Graffiti Life.
The artwork was offered to the school by global paint brand, Valspar.
Measuring over 4 metres wide we have installed the space mural within our Key Stage 4 corridor so that it can be enjoyed many times a day by our pupils and we hope that this will inspire them to get creative with colour in their art and design work.
The artwork was featured, with some of our Year 4 pupils, in the Eastern Daily Press, Lowestoft Journal and Waveney Advertiser earlier in October.
PE and Sports Newsletter (Summer 2016)
Its a bit late being published but we had some fantastic and fun times in the PE department over towards the end of the summer term, as you will see from the pictures in the newsletter.
We visited far and wide from The London Aquatic Centre to down on Lowestoft Beach and played a range of different sports with, and agaisnt, other local schools.
